Get certified to have objects printed on the Library's 3D Printer by attending a brief class that provides an overview of 3D Printing technology, illustrates some of the freely available programs available to design objects in 3D, and shows where to find objects others have designed to print yourself.
The Fitchburg Public Library has a DaVinci XYZ AIO 3D Printer that prints ABS or PLA plastic objects up to approximately 7.5" x 7.5" x 7.5" in size. The cost to print an object is only $.30 / gram.
The next 3D Class is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, at 11 a.m. in the Garden Room. Classes typically last 30-45 minutes depending on questions, and are free to attend. Call 978-829-1780 for more information.
