In Person Early Voting Opens February 24th for the Presidential Primary Election

In-Person Early Voting begins Saturday, February 24, 2024 and runs through Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Fitchburg City Hall, 718 Main Street. Residents can cast ballots on Saturday, February 24th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 25th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Monday, February 26th through Friday, March 1st from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Residents wishing to vote early must be registered Fitchburg voters.

Voter Registration to participate in the Presidential Primary is open until 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Interested residents may register online at www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr or in person at the City Clerk's Office. The City Clerk's Office is open weekly Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The City Clerk's Office will be open on Saturday, February 24th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Residents who wish to vote early may also apply for a Vote by Mail ballot. Vote by Mail ballots may be returned via mail, directly to the City Clerk's Office or in the Elections Drop-box located outside of City Hall on Main Street. Mail in Ballots must be returned no later than Tuesday, March 5, 2024 by 8:00 PM. Please be aware that Vote by Mail ballots may only be accepted if received prior to 8:00 PM on March 5th by the City Clerk’s Office. When returning your ballot by mail please take this into consideration. If you are concerned it may not reach the City Clerk’s Office in time, please return the ballot via the Elections Drop-box.
