Torch Teen Leadership and Motivation Training opportunities to Fitchburg

Yes We Care, Inc. has partnered with Margo Madji founder of the Torch Foundation to offer this transformational two-day Torch Training motivational/leadership workshop for teens between the ages of 13 - 17 who have a sincere commitment to create extraordinary results in their lives. To-date, they have had over 400 youth go through this program who’ve decided to change their lives for the better!

This training gives teens the opportunity to discover and redesign the limiting beliefs they have about themselves and others. It’s these self-imposed limitations that keep them from fully achieving their maximum capabilities. This program allows teens to pursue their dreams and goals with new confidence, freedom and passion. Teen Leadership participants begin to create a solid foundation of powerful tools that will serve them for their entire life. Each Leadership Training is unique to best meet the needs of the young people in attendance.

Topics generally discussed include the following:

Improving Grades, Relationships (Parents/Friends), Expansion of Choices, Consequences of Actions, Integrity, Listening Skills Achieve Dreams & Goals, Self-Control/Self, Conflict Resolution, Team Concept (Win/Win), Responsibility, Keeping Your Word Forgiveness (Self & Others), Effective Communication, Breaking Through Limiting Beliefs and much more!

This class is being offered and sponsored by the City of Fitchburg, Fitchburg State University, leaders in the community, business owners, entrepreneurs, and community at-large. In 2017 we have three scheduled “Yes We Care” Teen Leadership ‘Torch Trainings’, March 18 & 19, June 3 & 4 and October 28 & 29, they will all be held at Fitchburg State University. We are looking for your support in enrolling 5o to 6o teens per training. The cost is usually $295 per person. For those who register with us scholarships are available for youth to attend free!

Yes We Care, Inc. are also in need of volunteers who will assist with registration, meals, and serve as mentors and coaches for the youth in the program.
