Mayor's Proposed Fiscal Year 2014 Operational Budget for the City of Fitchburg. The City Council will be hosting a series of Budget Hearings with each Department to review the proposed budget. Please see the schedule here.
May 8, 2013 - The Water/Wastewater Commission Meeting is being postponed. Time to be determined at a later date.
May 15-17, 2013 - Rindge Road is being paved for a distance of 2000 feet between Bennett Road and Ashby West Road. Shoulder work will follow during week of May 20. Expect delays.
May 17, 2013 - Please be advised the Friday May 17, 2013 Curbside Yard Waste Collection route will be on a one day delay schedule. Friday’s Yard Waste route will be collected on Saturday May 18, 2013. There is one more week of yard waste collection for the spring season. The week of May 20-24 on the normal rubbish pick up day schedule.
May 28-29, 2013 - Line painting will be done on major city streets after 11 PM. To avoid paint splatter on your vehicle, even though the paint dries quickly, proceed with caution if you encounter freshly painted lines or the line painting truck.
