Environmental Art Class
This class will combine art and environmental education, making it possible for participants to see and understand the changes that need to happen. Participants will learn about the beauty of our natural plant species and butterflies through drawing and painting. This class is open to all skill levels.
- When: Every Friday; 5:30pm to 7:30pm (6 classes total)
- Starting May 22nd - Ending June 26th

- Cost: $90.00 ($75.00 plus materials)
Learn to Draw MANGA
Join us for a unique journey into the art of MANGA! In this workshop, Sharleen Wesgan, author of Akiko, will guide you through five weeks of exploration into the art of Japanese comic strip creation. Students will learn the different ways of telling a good story in manga/comic format. Each student will leave this course with the knowledge and tools to create a good story as well as a short manga they have written and illustrated themselves.

About the Recreation Department:
The Fitchburg Parks and Recreation Department is as diverse as the community it serves.
