Schedule of Public Meetings

Fitchburg City Council - 2012

All City Council meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM in the City Council Chamber on the 1st floor of City Hall at 718 Main St.

Meetings will be held on: 

Conservation Commission

Conservation Commission meetings are generally held on the last Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the Veterans Memorial Room, on the first floor of City Hall. Applicants are advised to call the Community Development office at: 978-829-1890 or contact Mike O'Hara to confirm meeting schedules.

Disability Commission

Regular meetings of the Fitchburg Disability Commission will be held in the Veteran’s Room, City Hall, 718 Main Street, Fitchburg, from 3:15-4:45 p.m.  To see the latest meeting agenda, click here. 

Historical Commission

Fitchburg Historical Commission meetings are on the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Room, first floor, City Hall.

Board of Parks Commission

Meetings will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Vererans Memorial room on the 1st floor of City Hall, 718 Main St. on the following dates for 2012:

 *Thursday Meeting due to Holiday.

Planning Board

Planning Board meeting dates are generally the Third Tuesday of the month and begin at 6pm. Additional dates may be scheduled as needed. Meeting dates are subject to change, and meeting agendas are occasionally full. Submittal of an application by the date noted does not guarantee a place on the next agenda.

Retirement Board

Regular meetings of the Fitchburg Retirement Board will be held in the Retirement Board Office on the second floor of City Hall at 10:00 a.m.on the following dates:
