The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be closing the Putnam Street Bridge for repairs starting on  Monday, August 23 through Wednesday, August 25. The closure will be in effect only during working hours from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. When travelling please take this into account and use one of the alternate routes via the Rollstone Street Bridge or Water Street Bridge.
